Can Mirko Break the Cro Cop Curse?

Just as though he appeared on the cover of the latest Madden video game or had been praised on the cover of Sports Illustrated as the next champion of the UFC, it looked like Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic had a curse following him during his last trip to England when he was upset in dramatic fashion by Gabriel Gonzaga, a fight and a loss that cost him a chance at UFC heavyweight championship.

i dont think it was a curse, if anything jet lag

I think it was more lack of preperation then anyhting, although he wouldn't be the first guy to have a curse. I think more then thoes things being a curse, it's people letting the fact that there on the cover of Sports Illustated, or a video game, go to there head. Cro Cop will be fine now, he's been training with elbows (Hope we see a few of thoes tonight) and in the octagon. Thoes two factors are crutial, not to mention the fact that he's pissed off, and not taking anything for granted this time. He NEEDS to win this fight in a big way, and that could mean a whole world of hurt for Kongo.

CC seems to be vary hard headed when it come to learning new things and got a reality check vs Gonzaga that maybe MMA is moving forward with out him
hence getting a cage and learning ground fighting

Cro Cop is a member of parliament he doesn't take fighting as serious as he used to be, the Cro Cop we saw today wasn't close to the Cro Cop that terrorized PRIDE.

i agree hes unfocused a little but he still trains like a monster but when ur a part of parlament fightin aint shit. and to answer the question no last night proved that much

The Mirko Cro Cop I've watched since K-1 would've chewed Cheick Kongo and spit him out in round one. The Mirko Cro Cop now isn't the same guy. A legend regardless.
