Chicago middleweight Mark Miller was devastated by the cancellation of his fight with Deray Davis on the undercard of Fedor vs. Rogers Saturday night.

Miller and Davis were scheduled to face off on the undercard of the promotion’s CBS network debut but were informed after the main event that the bout was off.

Dino Costeas, Miller’s trainer, on Monday said the Miller camp was told the fight would be moved to a slot on the main card soon after the final undercard fight between Marloes Coenen vs. Roxanne Modaferri began and waited from 3:45 that afternoon to hear back from Strikeforce officials.

I'm seriously disappointed that Coker didn't pay them both their win bonuses...that would've been the classy thing to do.

Both fighters got the shaft in a major way. Im sure they were relying on sponsorship pay and the possible "win" money to help pay for the costs of training camp, rent, food for the family etc. Im not really sexist but having two veteran fighters get screwed over like this while two females were still able to fight is ridiculous.

Plus the chick fight ended with 25 minutes to go to til the live broadcast because of the very early finish. They could have sped up entrances and fit in the Miller fight even if it had gone the distance but they wanted an intermission before the televised card.

They should have at least let them fight after the Fedor fight even if it wasn't on air. They still get the fight in so sponsorship dollars would be paid. Memo to Scott Coker: Look back at all the Affliction and Elite XC mishaps and don't make them. There was over 15 min between the Miller v Shields and the Fedro v Rogers fight I know with it being on Free TV these are things we will have to deal with but you have to let every fight you schedule happen.

Busch League! They should have had the fight after the Fedor - Rogers fight. They should file breach of contract and get out before Strikeforce collapses under the M-1 regime.
