Though the UFC has yet to make an official announcement, welterweight Mike Swick (14-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) today acknowledged the reports that he would no longer be facing Martin Kampmann at UFC 103 on Sept. 19 in Dallas.

In Swick's place steps British slugger Paul Daley.

That's just to bad for Mike, although he was winning he just didn't fight the same after his last lay off, I'd hate for it to happen again as I think he is getting into the groove again.

i gotta be honest
i was looking forward to a true number one contender match not like a maia vs marquadt match still no number one status

but this was it, i was pulling for swick, i have no interest in a gsp vs kammpman match and knowing this in vegas next year this is what i'll get for main event when i go...

saying this who else is there???

say kammpman loses then what????

who else is there??

if dan hardy can beat kim fast track him to title shot or and i do think this might happen
if condit wins,
gsp vs condit would sell a pay perview given the average fan knows who condit is

for swick his shot is still out there, i do think he may face a anthony johnson or even a thiago alves next to get it though
