I'm curious to see how many of you actually agree with that. Michael Vick...a man known for torturing/killing and training dogs to fight...should he be murdered in prison just like Jeffrey Dahmer was?

For those of you who have no idea who Jeffrey Dahmer was...in brief, he was a serial killer from Wisconsin (USA) who murdered, raped and ate his 17 victims.

So...should Vick die? Or should he be given a chance to turn his life around?

im a liberal so i think just about anyone deserves the chance to live and turn it around, there are exceptions though, hometown weirdo dahmer being one of them

I dont think he deserves to die, i do hope he has a particularly slippery bar of soap when it comes to shower time though.

what vick did was atrocious but it is a far cry from dahmer. i dont lose sleep over people who kill, rape, or hurt children getting roughed up or murdered in prison but for just about anything else, death is just not appropriate.

Dogs and children hmmm.... I just don't look at them on the same level. Even if Vick raped the dogs and then ate them I still wouldn't say he deserves to die. He would have to do a hell of a lot more time though. I don't think inmates sympathize with PETA I imagine they are more fans of Football than animal rights. Vick should be fine and you know he'll be back in the NFL in 2 years if he gets it together.

murdering dogs does not equal murdering people no matter what elitist animal rights folks will tell you. Let him live in jail for a while.

listen here guy, i wasnt comparing daumer and vick (even tho there both scumbags with no remorse) i just want him dead, whats the problem? most sociopathic serial killers start out killing/torturing animals first (not saying he'll kill people, but whats the difference, were all animals on earth) i dont like to have the knowledge that scumbags like him can get out of jail early just because hes rich and famous and go play pro football again and make all his money back after such horrific crimes, it seems your straying from the point of that comment, not only is it just as wrong to kill and torture dogs as people but your condoning it as "not as bad as killing people" so you come off just as evil as him, end of story

but listen, this man lost millions of $, filed for bankruptcy, lost 2-3 years of his prime & if he returns, he wont be near as good

so lets tally this up:

lost millions of $.....check

his career nearly ruined & huge fan base nearly gone....check

i think dude's paid more than enough just for fighting dogs

I ran over a cat a few weeks after I passed my driving test. It was a accident but under the rules of killing animals = prison/death shouldn't I have a record for man/catslaughter..... Or maybe they are just animals and Vick going to prison should be enough.
The worst punishment I can possibly think of is leaving him in the ring with Andrei "the PITBULL" Arlovski.
He'll find out just how good at fighting they are then and I doubt he'd ever try it again.
