Seriously...this friggin' sucks. Mother Nature is a fat, bipolar skank.
I haven't had electricity since Friday at 1:30pm because we got nailed with an ice storm. That's right...more than 4 days ago. I'm going to go crrrrrrrrrrazy if I have to crash at my mom's house again tonight.
To add another cherry on to my sh*tty chocolate sundae, we're under a "Winter Weather Advisory" for tonight...only 3 inches of snow expected, but up to another quarter inch of ice.

Yes, Northern Indiana. It started off as over 120,000 homes without power. Now they're down to about 20,000 or so. We're at the bottom of the priority list meaning it could be Sunday before we have power again.

Thats pretty crazy, you lose power just from that.
Up in Canada, most of get hit with 20 inches of snow on a bad day. Mind you really bad we get 40 inches plus.

1/2 inch of ice adds about 500 extra pounds of weight to the power lines...we had 3/4 of an inch.

If you've looked at Yahoo today you may have read about the huge water main break on the other side of DC. Thankfully it's on the north side of the city, I live on the south side so it won't affect me.

It was warmer than usual here, I didn't mind the nice weather although it's been a long time since I had a white Christmas...now roughly 19-20 years by my count.

My electricity has been out since this morning :(
Apparently our driveway was actually on fire becouse of the wires below. Its been on and off all day and the guys outside are still drilling and digging, even though its 00.30!
