MMA has seen the dominoes of regulation tumble in a fairly smooth fashion as an increasing number of states are looking to cash in on the sport's increased popularity. Recently, states like Arizona and Tennessee have joined the fold. One noted stumbling block in the wave of regulation has been the State of New York. Recent efforts to get MMA regulated in the state by the end of this year failed when a bill to regulate the sport was unable to make it out of committee to be voted on.
