Silva is my fav fighter.

I don't wanna see him go down same path as lidell did.

You accomplished enough
Have nothing else to prove.

It seems like his legendary chin is gone and if his speed snd timing are slow it will be a bad end i think.thats a hard injury to come back from and theres no competing with old age... unless...TRT

After a leg break like that Anderson will never be the same. I wish he'd just make his retirement official. No need to come back and tarnish his legacy.

Silva has obviously earned the right to come back and fight again if that's what he wants. If he comes back I hope he is 100%. I personally think its father time catching up with him that will be a bigger issue than the leg break. I think Silva should retire and has nothing left to prove. If he can come back close to 100%, I think he should have to get at least 1 if not 2 wins before he gets a title fight though. He has two losses in a row. The first one was 100% legitimate loss, regardless if he was clowning (that's his fault). The second loss, although a fluke, is still a loss. If the leg break doesn't count then the Zombies loss to Aldo shouldn't count and he should get another title shot. There are plenty of other injury losses as well that no one brings up. A loss is a loss.

I disagree.

While I agree he has nothing left to prove, I also think he has nothing to lose.

If he comes back he would definitely need a fight or two to get back to a title shot IMO. But if he could come back and win one or two, then beat Weidman or Belfort and regain the belt, it would be an amazing comeback story.

The reason I don't think he has anything to lose is because if he came back and DID lose to someone, everyone with half a brain would understand that it was due to his age, injury, and layoff.

Absolutely nothing could tarnish his legacy at this point IMO.

This is all semantics, Anderson Silva is done like dinner after that injury. He may try workouts after about a year plus, but he will then realize its not going to happen. No way an athlete of any calibre at his age will recover enough to fight as this level. We'll miss you Anderson, it doesnt seem that long ago that we watched him take Leben apart, and some amazing accomplishments followed.

bu-bye GOAT, I loved watching you fight.

Silva will have enough time off right now to make the choice of what he feels is best for him. Its not like he is going to jump in there tomorrow that's even if he does come back.

I cried a little bit after the last ppv. I hope he fights again.

one more fight in Brazil against a Middle of the road guy due to injury and layoff, then he probably retires.
