Manny does a ton for that lineup. In 53 games last season, he nearly led the team in HRs.
and was a hair ynder .400, as much of a headcase as he is, he always hits, and he does seem to have fun out there.

Yanks are in early trouble, they'll be without Ache-Rod for a while...roughly 10 weeks. He needs immediate surgery to remove a cyst on his right hip. That probably will happen Monday.

Cody Ransom is an okay backup, but yeah, losing your best hitter is no way to start a season.
