You guys realize that there is other MMA outside of the UFC, right?
Try wins over BJ Penn and Rich Franklin.... Not to mention an undefeated record that isnt full of inexperienced fighters.
Yeah i realize there is MMA outside of the UFC I am probably one of the biggest Pride nuthuggers out there.
Beating BJ Penn at LHW isnt something to hang your hat on BJ should not have been fighting at that wieght

Its ok because imo all that hype and all the machida fans are going to have a harsh reality check when he fights soko,and IF he beats soko then i can have some more respect for him.

Yeah, youre right. His jiu-jitsu skills disappear as soon as he gains 20 pounds...
Hate to break it to you, but to beat someone with those skills, even if the guy weighed 300 pounds, is still impressive.

I think you have it backwards... If Soko beats Machida, then I will have some serious respect for him. Not the other way around. In my eyes, Machida should beat Soko on experience alone.
