Ultimate Fighting Championship 78 had its first hiccup when visa issues prevented Hector Lombard from fighting Karo Parisyan.

Recent UFC signee Ryo Chonan got the bump to fight Parisyan, but that left American Top Team welterweight Thiago Alves, whom Chonan was originally scheduled to face, without an opponent. Enter “The Ultimate Fighter 4” runner-up Chris Lytle.........................

whoops i messed up the poll by accidentally hitting enter ....................... but what i was getting at was wondering if most people picking Alves to win actually thinks he can STOP Lytle (something that has never happened apart from the cut from Riggs), i think Alves will be the best striker Chris has fought but think i will still go with him by decision

i am taking alves to finish. he is looking crispy with his striking and aggressive. lytle is a good opponent i cant wait to see the match up.

I'm taking Lytle. One tough dude.

At first when I saw this matchup I thought Thiago would win but now I think Lytle is hard to finish and has more experience by fighting tougher competition. I think it will be a war Lytle needs to win.
