I see it on your second post. Man... that guy's nogin is huge compared to your's. If only headbutts were still allowed. I'm always interested in if the UFC buffs heights to make their fighters seem bigger, so what is your height in that pic?

Sweet picture! I lived in England for awhile and dated a girl from Manchester. How many times a day do you say "In'it?
Guess you have to be american to get that one. Luckily I speak both British and American

HA! Theres a woman from Liverpool coming out to Montana this summer to watch everyone fight, and I know I'm going to have no way to communicating with her. I talk almost entirely in New England slang and she talks like the cast of Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang.

Here's a few:
In'it = huh, as in "Nice Day, in'it"
fag = cigarette
Skint = broke, as in no money
nick = Borrow, or steal, but also being busted for something. Also "in thenick" is in jail. Very useful word
knock up = wake up call
snog = french kiss
shag = If you've seen Austin Powers, you know already
Porky Pies = Lies
In Barney = in trouble

They also say 20 for a pack of smokes so "20 fags" isn't a gay convention!

"Fags" is hardly used now. "Snout" is much more common.

"Porky pies" is cockney rhyming slang, and isnt really used anywhere but in London. That said, Ive been to london many, many times and have friends and family down there, and no one really speaks Cockney Rhyming anyway, apart from in Charles Dickens books.

"Barney" =/= Trouble, "Barney" is actually slang for "Fight".

ohh... well i still want the fight maybe i could double as a translator.

i say most of the stuff in that list, its a northern/manc thing i reckon. also, knock up can mean a few things, like i shout to my mam "knock us up a butty". dunno if you know what a barm is, but its like a bread roll, but better, we stick pies and pasties on um aswell, call it a wigan kebab, you should try that. and if you ever come up north, you can put gravy on your chips, for some reason southerners dont think thats right but oh well
