UFC officials confirmed with The Fight Network yesterday that Hector Lombard (11-2-1, 1 NC), scheduled to face fellow Judoka Karo Parisyan at Nov. 17’s UFC 78 in Newark, N.J., has not been removed from the roster after a report surfaced yesterday that Lombard could not gain entry into the U.S. for the bout ................

There's another type of visa that he's trying for, one that allows for short visits by sports figures and entertainers.

But if Hector competed at the olmypics i presume his judo is better than Karo's
Oh and ctually he was never in out in out etc, just out and this is the 1st in bit, but its actually not saying he is definately in, they are just saying the UFC never scratched him (which we know cos he is still there on the site) cos they are hopefull he will get this short term visa

I did it, it is like Borat's National Anthem except instead of countries run by little girls it is judo throws done by little grils

We'll see at 78 won't we. Anything can happen in an MMA fight. Just because he has bettew judo on paper doesn't mean squat.

he could be better than karo at judo in the tourney's and olympics but can he still do all the throws without the gee and in a mma fight. karo says that there is only three throws that he can convert to do in a mma fight. but we will have to see.

Karo probably has the better overall MMA game but his Judo is severely overrated. Karo's judo is decent at best, and if anyone had every seen any of Yoshida or Nastula's fights they would know what a real Judo-MMA transtition looks like. Karo makes one half-assed hip-toss a fight and people think he's the god of Judo.

i agree with you. it just seems in the ufc no one really knows or practices judo. so he is like the pioneer of mma judo in the ufc. so now we will see how he match's up against others. i got karo winning also. i bet that karo really wont even try judo he will come out trying to bang.

Karo really should have inproved his striking and BJJ more in the last few years tho, i know he is still very young but he should have finished Burkman or Fickett, lots of decisions in his record but nevr boring fights, i just wanna see him finish guys more, his Judo is overated tho i agree

that is very true. i thought he was going to finish burkman. he might be the only fighter that has some exciting fights that go to decison.
