A middleweight bout between former UFC middleweight championship contender David “The Crow” Loiseau and Jason “Dooms” Day has been added to the card at Hardcore Championship Fighting “Destiny” on Friday, Feb. 1 at The Stampede Corral in Calgary, Alberta.

Montreal native Loiseau (15-7) was set to face Leopoldo Serao at a World Cagefighting Organization event in San Diego, Calif., on Jan. 12, but the show was cancelled six hours before its start time by the California State Athletic Commission.

Day (14-5), meanwhile, earned a slick submission victory over UFC veteran Jonathan Goulet at Ultimate Cage Wars 8 on June 23 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Unbeaten in his last three outings, the win over Goulet put the Lethbridge, Alberta rep on the radar. Day has won eight of his last nine fights, the lone setback a TKO loss to Patrick Cote at TKO 29 in June.

I'v asked before but I'll try again.... Just wondering about adding the HCF to the secondary league? It is getting bigger names each event, its good to see the Crow back in action. I am also excited for this event as Andrew Buckland (i grew up with)... is still undefeated 4-0 is coming up pretty fast. Anyway don't forget about us Canadians
