Man Goldie is .... "not very smart" I guess I should say.
Davis is the most technically sound striker in MMA? He's got a great short jab to stop guys on the way in for sure, and his boxing isn't terrible by any means, but I still think his game needs a lot of work after watching this fight. He looked great against Paul Kelly, and now all of the sudden he's standing flat footed in the second round and waiting on a counter that wasn't coming. He wasn't turning his hips with his kicks, etc. etc. Maybe he was afraid of overcommitting or getting caught by Lytle, but a truly fantastic striker will impose his will on his opponent, not the other way around.
Sorry if the post offends anybody, but sometimes Goldie frustrates me
