Back to the days when Stefan Lessard was playing Warwick basses! However, I will concede that his Modulus Flea bass sounds a lot better, that graphite neck really helps him cut through. Plus, Carter is a pretty decent drummer, he did some cool stuff with Victor Wooten.

Are you say Fedor's technique is sloppy and lacking a high level of skill?

Are you saying Fedor fights without imagination?

I like some of Les's stuff, particularly with Primus, but he is anything but a "Fedor" on bass, there are thousands of bassists out there that could school him.

He's one of my personal favorites... While he's no Wooten or Burbritch or Schools(sp?)... I love his style and his showmanship... have you heard this group in particular? If you haven't might wanna check them out: Les on bass/vocals, Tre Anastasio(phish) on guitar/vocals, & Stuart Copeland(Police) on drums...

I like him, dont get me wrong, but he goes out of time, hits bum notes, makes loads of string noise etc when he is playing, thats just part of his style!

And yeah, I have heard pretty much all of Les's projects other than Primus, I used to be a big les fan

If you like Primus you should definitely check out Attention Defecit, they are a crazy Jazz fusion band with Herb on Drums, Michael Manring on Bass and the guy from Testament on guitars.
