So guys, I just want your opinions. Are there any fighters at LHW That you believe would be better suited in MW?

Wanderlei Silva is the first to come to mind for me.
I wonder if Houston Alexander would be capable of making MW?

I think Houston can possibly, though...he's jacked at LHW, much like Wandy.
Irvin, i think can...(he said he is going to)
Hendo/Franklin sometimes hover around both weight classes.
I can possibly see Lil Nog making 185.

Not sure how big Shogun is, he seems like he could possibly make 185

also, Arona...

Not sure what he's doing though, he hasn't fought since 07

shogun and machida could absolutely make 185 and that's just scary to me. i'd love to see silva fight either of these two guys, even if it's at 205.

wandy could make it down, james irvin, hendo and franklin obviously, and i think rashad could even make the cut to 185 without much trouble.

Yeah it would be quite interesting to see Machida at 185.
Although I hear Machida and Anderson Silva are good friends and say they would never fight each other. But Money has the ability to change peoples minds.

Rees Andy
Wandy
James Irvin
Elliot Marshall
Steve Cantwell maybe

I would say no to rashad because he is the champ and this thread is who should be MW unless rashad starts losing, he should stay.

Im sure more guys can make MW.

Hendo and Franklin both need to return to MW. Shogun, Matt hamill might be able to make it. Machida definatly could

i've met rogerio and there is no way he would ever make mw he is one big dude. shogun is easily a top 5 lhw there would be no need to drop to mw.

I forgot my man Luiz "Bahna" Cane. He looks to fight at his natural weight. he might be able to make it to MW

I think shogun is to big, he's pretty close to the same size as dos santo's.

I think both Machida and Shogun benefit from their build at LHW.

A lot of fighters just stress the crap out of themselves making weight. Or have bulked up muscles which gas them out for oxygen and make life even harder to cut due to muscle being harder to burn than water/fat.

The best fighters tend to look more Fedor than Huston Alexander.

Bear in mind that "Little" Nog isn't just "Big" Nog's brother, they're twins. Antonio Rogerio is 6'3", and - as a total guess - probably walks around at 225-230, drops 10-12 lbs during training, then cuts 10-12 lbs more for the weigh-in.
