Fight doesnt really make sense for Jardine though. He just beat him. Only reason i can see him taking this is for the money.

I don't mind Chuck getting another title shot,its just that their are so many fighters in the LHW division right now that are very talented.I just want to see how Liddell stacks up with some of these other fighters as well.IMO,I would rather see Machida against Liddell next,but we will just wait and see what happens.

Machida is waiting for Tito ortiz's answer about a fight between them.

both fighters are below Jardine in the ranking, so i really thing that Liddell, Machida or tito will have to deal with Jardine first.

unless Jardine get an automatic title shot after forrrest .

I think Jardine has already been forgotten considering Forrest is getting a title shot before him.

This fight makes perfect sense to me. Jardine won against Liddell by a razor-sharp decision, and Liddell is coming off a huge victory. It's a good time for them to go at it again.

I'de rather see Chuck fight someone like Shogun or Thiago. And I'de rather see jardine fight guys like Houston, or Machida. There are SO MANY great potential fight in the 205 division, lets really not water it down with re-match's.

I think Jardine deserves far more respect than he's gotten following his win over Chuck. He fought a -very- intellegent fight. He may be forever allocated to the "doorkeeper" role in the LHW div, but he still deserves props where they are due.

As for a rematch...he should take it, if he can get it. If he can dismantle Chuck's game like he did last time, it would STILL be an upset & a loss would be nothing but expected.

Besides, I like Jardine. He looks like a psycho.

wtf is wrong with you? Everyone knows that should've been an unanimous decision. It was almost a knockout. Watch the fight again and keep track of points. Jardine wins every round. Chuck got the superstar vote from the judges, and it still wasn't enough.

Now if they fought again, Liddell would destroy Jardine. The only valid gameplan Jardine could ever have against Chuck would be to win a fight strategically by points. Chuck already knows how that fight goes and will be able to make the necessary adjustments to win the fight. To beat Keith you need to take it to him and overwhelm him (watch Alexander fight).

I don't like this fight either. Like everyone else pretty much said, there's so many other fights to make. I'd rather see Jardine fight Machida or Thiago Silva for the #1 contender after Rampage v. Griffin. Have Liddell fight either Machida or Silva (whoever Jardine doesn't fight) or Shogun.

id like to see a rematch because i dont think chuck did his best that fight. ut snother good fight would be chuck and alexander-punches comin from everywhere and lots of excitement. Let jardine try his luck with shogun then figure out where the next contender sits.

griffin got TKOed by jardine, next thing you know he has a fight scheduled with the no1 ranked lhw in the world? Sometimes mismatches happen, every fighter has a chance at this level and you gotta respect that. Forrest proved it against shogun, jardine proved it against liddel, serra proved it against gsp, kongo proved it against crocop.. just cause one fighter is ranked higher than another doesnt mean that they're not in the same league. Look at how people are handicapping fights now as compared to a year ago, record, skill set, reputation doesnt determine which fighter enters the octagon that night.. a lot of it rests on where ur head is and where ur heart is

I love watching Jardine fight and I'd love to see him fight Chuck again... and win :) Jardine is a striker just like Chuck, but he had more heart and determination than Chuck did that night. Im betting on Jardine Again. Chuck brings the same gameplan to every fight, and the betting odds will be nice :)

Thiago Silva cannot be mentioned as #1 contender as of yet. It'll take at least two fights for that to be.

I would love to watch this one again, Heap's more "Reason" than the 1st fight, Chuck want's to prove himself, Bad.
The way he was talking, He only has one more loss in him, He will get what he wants.
And I imagine this will happen, Chuck Liddell wanting to avenge a loss, Heard that before.
Will he get a shot at Rampage/Griffin if he win's?

The bottom line is Jardine was pretty much suppose to be an easy come back fight for Chuck.It didn't have anything to do with Jardine earning a title shot.It was about getting Chuck and easy win,which didn't happen.
