Who thinks liddell should move to heavyweight? i honestly think its bad, when he got clipped by rampage, we finally see his chin is gettin' weaker.

I don't think it would be the smartest idea at the moment espeically since he just got KO'd. I'm not saying he shouldn't move up but I don't think he should do before getting his belt back.

I think he should stay at LHW. Hopefully, he'l get his belt back and retire a champ, which imo is what he deserves. Hes got nothing to prove going to up to heavyweight to fight randy again.

i think if couture defeats gonzaga they could possibly set up chuck/randy 4 for the heavyweight belt.

I don't think he should move up, I don't get why people think chuck's so good, he's always fought lesser opponenets, had he fought in Pride against Shogun, wanderlei, ect. he would be a 'good' fighter. So if he moves up he's going to have to fight strikers like mirko, and ground and pounders like fedor.

Like i mentioned in a previous thread i think liddell's only got around 4 fights left in him and if randy gets past GG then theres a very good chance liddell will move up to HW to fight him. after all he's been saying he wanted to move up to HW for about 3 years now.

You do realize Chuck Liddell only walks around at 210. He is a samll LHW. If he was gonan mmove back to 185 would be his best move.

Honestly, how'd you get in my camp? Your gonna tell me...that Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, Vitor Belfort, Jeremy Horn, Guy Mezger, Kevin Randleman, Jeff Monson, and Murilo Bustamante are LESSER OPPONENTS?! Chuck Liddell will probably fight CroCop if he moves to heavyweight relatively soon, just because they both have to come back off devastating KO losses. Chuck vs Fedor? HELL NO. Liddells Pit is not that great of a camp when u got dimebag tellin his own camp they are, in better lack of words, RETARDED. Liddell is a badass and will always be one. But Rampage is also a badass, and so is Hendo, and so is Wandy (even though retarded people from Liddells Pit think he is not a option for the iceman because he lost to Cro Cop and Henderson by KO), and so forth and so forth. All I can say is it's MMA and it will always be a up in the air fight against oppents with the caliber of skill all the elite fighters have. He should stay at LHW. Fights against Wandy and Shogun are big money makers.....that is how ufc will look at it.....OR.....if liddell decides he only has a couple of fights left in him, Dana might let him fight who he wants (wandy, crocop, fedor)

I dont even understand why people would want this, The LHW division is being dominated by Chuck and Rapage (Henderson soon). If Chuck went to heavy, he would face ten times harder competition just to get a title shot, need to gain weight (my opinion, hes alrdy not in shape for LHW, more fat wouldnt help him), and he would never get to avenge his fight with Jackson which its been his mission to avenge all his losses for the past 2 years.
No way Chuck will leave all this.

Chuck's been "talking" about a lot of things. He'll never move to HW . CC walks around at about the same weight Chuck does.

And Couture would dominate Chuck at HW. A lot of extra power and his cardio is great, he would easily wear Chuck down and pound him out or maybe even sub. Fedor would brutalize him easily.

Chuck vs any top HW fighter would be a joke. Chuck knows this and doesn't want to compromise his "false" legacy.

He'll never get any belt again so it doesn't really matter where he goes. I do want to see Wandy put him in his place though, and so do a lot of fans, so that should be his next/last fight if he gets past Jardine. Wandy will probably retire him anyway, and it will be the end of all this Chuck worship.

HAHAHA I just read this thread...Yes I do consider Horn, Tito, White, Monson, and Sobral lesser opponents. Tito can't beat anyone but shamrock, Horn is a natural 185, White(25-31 need I say more). He's fought how many people that can hit back? Not many, and 1 of them KO'd him twice. If you don't think I belong in your camp then i'll leave, lol might cry but i'll leave. If your so conviced that Chuck's the shit then why does he only fight wrestlers? Coddled a bit by dana perhaps? Why is he fighting Jardine? Especially when shoguns sitting right there on the same card? I'm sorry but I think chucks career is tainted by all of the wrestlers he's fought. Maybe i'm wrong, but he's going to have to fight someone like shogun, or wandy, or even have a competitive fight with rampage(sure we'll see #3 soon since he's dana's baby). I agree, and he didn't get TKOed by one punch. He was still wide awake he just got knocked down by the first punch. The fight was stopped after he took about three good punches and an elbow. No shame in being knocked down, and it was n't the first time in his career. Rampage and Randy had both knocked him doen with strikes just off the top of my head. I've seen Wandy get knocked down plenty of times also, but both of them just usually get up. As for going to HVY, I say no. I think he was only considering it before because he had beat the best of the UFC's roster. With so many guys coming form Pride that he hasn't beat I think he will want to stay at 205.

Liddell would most likely stand a good chance at the HW division but I think he should stay at LHW because the competition is getting stronger, especially with Shogun and Henderson, and eventually Silva, so I think he should stay at LHW and prove that he is the best at 205lbs.
