also MOJOY ..... wanderlei should be higher, he held the title for a long time, way longer than chuck, and also he beat rampage twice, chuck lost twice to rampage.......and the fights he lost against cro cop and mark hunt cant be counted cus it wasnt a Light heavyweight, than his only loss at LHW in the past 7 years (without counting dan henderson) was against ricardo arona, wich he avenged......so i dont see how chuck can be in front and wanderlei

I agree

Copenhagen if you note my colorful tone I thought you meant Chuck should not be in the top 10. As long as you think he is top 5, I am on par, if you think not then I would respect that but disagree. FoRea.

MOJOY how about u give the same respect to ALL the fighters and not juss chuck, like i said be4 wanderlei beat rampage twice, chuck lost twice to Page, wanderlei beat sakuraba 3 times, he beat a Fujita wich is a hw, he also got even with ricardo arona........not to say that chuck has had it easy but randy and tito are good on the ground, but with chuck lets see, his last ight against a striker was in 2001, against vitor belfort....since than he has faced wrestelers that CANT take him down, excluding randy vs chuck 1, and they dont know how to strike well enough to hang with him, and same with babalu and jeremy horn.........wanderlei juss lost his title, and so id chuck but wanderlei had it for way longer............................................

chuck does deserve a place in the top 5 juss not #3 , i would put #5 or 4

Are Sakurabu and Fukita great strikers? The top 5 of any wieght class is usaully debatle, as far as order, but as long as he's in the top 5.

1 Mauricio Rua
2 Wanderlei Silva
3 Chuck Liddell
4 Quinton Jackson
5 Dan Henderson
6 Ricardo Arona
7 Rameau Sokoudjou
8 Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
9 Renato Sobral
10 Tito Ortiz
11 Jason Lambert
12 Alistair Overeem
13 Lyoto Machida
14 Rashad Evans
15 Michael Bisping

Edit:
Moved Jason Lambert into the 11 spot and moved Jardine out of top 15.

I still like my list better than the suggested changes. Chuck has shown that he can hold a title for an extended period of time. Rampage has only just received the title. This ranking is not about where people will be in the future but where they are right now. Someone suggested that Bisping be above Tito Ortiz but how can you justify that when Bisping has not been tested against anyone in the top 15. There is logic to my rankings and its all based on a collective performance, not just one or two fights. Dan Henderson has shown some real talent lately but I want to see him in more top fights. This one with Jackson will definitely allow me to move some of the top 5 guys around more definitively.
