Leonard Garcia vs Jens Pulver at WEC 36

Garcia confirmed with MMAJunkie.com that he was taking on Pulver at WEC 36.

Now this is a fight that i want to see......Im going to go out on a limb and say Garcia 1st rd KO.....

I'll go ahead and say Pulver puts Garcia to sleep for the 1st time.

Should be a good fight even though Garcia wasn't Pulver's first choice (he wanted Alexandre Franca Nogueira, which of course isn't happening until at least late next year due to Nogueira's 1 year drug suspension). A win should put him back on the road to another Featherweight Title shot (either a Faber rematch or a match with Mike Thomas Brown if he somehow wins).

Yesssssssssss! I love this fight. Lil Evil is def. one of my favorites and I like the style of Garcia. I gotta pull for Jens to take this one!

i like both of these dudes alot, really glad to see Garcia didnt get popped for the whole yayo bit and can return to fight someone as tough as Jens. this fight will be the shittttttt

dude ima fan of both & might be a lil partial......but i was screamin my ass off @ 3 this morning

gf was so pissed but when she woke up & started watching she was glad i woke her up to watch it.......YES THAT good

Yeah I got em all on the comp right now (free) and that fight is ******* ridiculously good.....back and forth ....big bombs, GNP, everything!!!

I love Pulver and hes a hero of mine but he just dosnt have it anymore, Garcia's chin is better his striking is crisper, equal in power and Garcia's footwork and heart will prevail. He had one of the best fights ever with Huerta and honestly I dont see Pulver lasting very long with Huerta.

pulver vs huerta though is nothing in this fight. pulver just finished a game cub swanson in what 20secs to get a shot at faber then went the distance with urijah. nobody does that if they have lost it. this fight will be hard to beat the fight last nite which was pimp (http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2008/7/21/575562/dream-5-live-results )--link has all the fights from dream 5--but this could do it.

and what about lil nog vs shogun in pride. that was a pimp fight too for the all time ranks

heres the difference cub swanson is a featherweight, huerta is an oversized lightweight

this is one of those dream fights for me.

I think after an absolute slug fest, Pulver drops Leo in the 2nd

good job wec. continue matching up the top fighters in each of their weight classes.

The WEC always has great cards.

I just think the Jens in his prime would have beaten Faber, I just dont think he can hang with Garcia is what I'm really trying to say.

I'm ******* excited for this fight. I love it any time Jens steps into a cage. I definitely think he'll take this one, but it will be a good fight.
