Leonard Garcia got known for the 3 round battle he had with Roger Huerta
He is a great fighter and possibly an A level fighter in many peoples eyes
Althogh he is a good fighter To me he is a Strong B Level fighter

I would consider at this Point Leonard a solid B Level fighter he does have skills and obviously a lot of heart, but he is not on the level of many A Level fightters at 155, but with that being said he is still very young and could develop in to a contender in the division but i dont see him ever being a champion.
Agree with everybody. He gave Huerta a run for his money. A few more fights and he could possibly be A level potential.

I also agree that he is B Level, but where i differ is that i don't think he is A Level Potential, for a 155er his strikes are kinda slow and he needs to work on his gas tank...still a good, exciting fighter though.

agree as well...top of b level food chain...chompin at the A level bit....he kinda reminds me of hermes franca....jiu jitsu practitioner w/ half decent striking and very durable....franca was very much the same kind of fighter originally and just got better and better....look where that got him (steroid issue aside).
from what i saw of him, which is only the huerta fight, he looked like he could make it exciting with just about anyone. i dont draw real specific lines between A and B level but all that abuse and smiling made me a fan and ill be excited to watch him fight again. got to love it when it is clear that someone just loves to step in the cage and let it all hang out.
I generally don't like the concept of certain levels since it's very vague and subjective.
I do agree with you all about Leonard and his potential though. Great JJ, some power in his hands and tons of heart. Given the chance he can evolve into something great in the LW division.

He has the potential to be A-level at 145. he should move to the WEC IMO

Has Leonard fought at 145 before???
If he can make that weight i think it would deffinitly benefit him and then he would probably haver the potential to be A Level.

considering even Garcia has admitted he needs some work, solid B level fighter.

He is a good fighter but I think he lacks the strength and power needed to compete with most 155ers.
If he could make 145 I think he has a better shot at being "A level" there for sure.
How about his upcoming opponent though, Cole Miller is no joke.
I was actually surprised he did not win the last season of TUF.
Fairly good strikes, good JJ and works with ATT. I for sure think that with some more time under his belt, Cole will be a force at 155.
He took Lion Takeshi the distance, which is no easy task.

garcia should go to kotc....
What makes him so good in my opinion is his heart and conditioning, he also has a strong jaw and puts on an incredicle show for the fans...
After watching that war with Huerta I have tremendous amounts of respect for the both of them, I would really like to see a rematch.

One fight doesnt make an A level fighter. B for now

I really can't see him as an A level fighter, he is too small for 155lbs, maybe at 145lb he could do better. I know Jens fought at 155 when his body was more suited to 145, but I dont think Garcia has the same skill levels to make up for the size difference.
Coupled with the fact that I wasnt all that impressed by his technical abilities, I dont ever see him being an A class fighter. Sure he showed a lot of heart against Huerta, but he was just totally outclassed, and I dont think Huerta is all that hot either. Garcia is a good, but he doesnt have the stand out skills to be A class, and while he is still young, he doesnt look like Gamburyan, Lauzon etc, who are other young fighters, but he obvious great potential, espescially Lauzon!

hes still very young and if all goes well he'll progress a lot from where he was in the huerta fight(which to me wasnt too bad). i like the idea of him dropping to 145 a lot. im gonna go with b-level as well, and after the fight with miller i think everyone will have a better idea of where hes at, cole is a tough kid and his size(height) will make him a difficult opponent for anyone in the LW division. if garcia beats him, i can see the ufc pushing him more, the guy gained a ton of fans after the huerta fight, and has the potential to be one of the more exciting fighters at 155 or 145.
