Leben or Bisping

mmamania discussed the possible matchup. i'd like to know what yall think about it. me personally?

i love leben's KO power but think bisping pulls out a decision

I guess this will be like a wet dream fight for all the american bisping haters, theres no denying that if sombodys going to knock him out at 185 other than anderson it would be leben or cote. I think mike would be to quick for him though, and would just wear him down with knees from the clinch until chris gases. At that point i think bisping would just play it smart and pick his shots earning himself a UD. Bisping might even take him down, the stand ups pretty close but i definatly think bisping is better on the ground.

Leben looks pretty good as of late. Bisping looked fast in his last fight, and in good shape. This would be a great fight. I am not sure who I would pick at this point.

Leben would win this fight tko. Chris has a strong chin and stronger punch even though they maybe wild they still hurt.

I dont think bisping has as much power in his hands to test lebens chin. I think leben could get a takedown and so could bisping but i see both of them getting right back up.

I'd say middle of the second round leben rock's bisping and finishes with a ground and pound tko.

Bisping wouldn't allow Leben to win via the way he usualy does. Bisping doesn't get into slug matches (which is what Leben wants). Bisping with put a combo together then back out. And on the ground there is no question Bisping is better. Clear advantage Bisping... UD.

i like bisping, and he had a great fight and looked good, but leben looks great aswell, would be a top-grade fight, i think bisping would take it out ever so slightly.

I don't think Bisping would make the mistake of trying to stand with Leben. The thing is Leben can still put you down even when he is about to go down himself. Leben is the guy that you just can't count out. I imagine Bisping would take it to the ground and beat Leben that way, just to play it safe.

I mean, Leban is a tested fighter and Bisping just learned how look tuff during his entrance...... (just look how cool he looked last PPV)

I'm not saying he can't win but the odds are stacked against him

My mind says Leben by KO. I think Bisping is one hell of a fighter and looked great moving down to 185 but I believe he will try and stand and trade with Leben and unless you are 6'3 or over Leben will probably put you to sleep.

The running man aint over 6'3 and leben couldnt put him to sleep. He hasnt even got that great of a chin.

Bisping KO is my pick

I think Leben by KO or three rd pounding un dec, I don't see how Bisping can walk away with a W here.

(close fight and maybe the judges lean toward bisping? otherwise NO)

I'd fancy Bisping by TKO.

I like them both, but I've loved Bisping since his Cage Rage days.

This is one of those fights were I hope and pray for the rare double KO

Even though i like Leben and dislike Bisping, i have to go with Bisping on this one. 2nd rnd TKO GnP. He looked great at 185. much faster, and that Thai clinch looked deadly.

Leben by KO 3rd round

Bisping looked crazy good against McCarthy! He looked quicker and much more crisp with his punches. He really impressed me. So I'm thinking he'd be able to take it to Leben, and lets not forget Bisping has a pretty good ground game too, if he's on top. I'd give the fight to Bisping round 2 TKO.

Starnes is 6'3 with a decent reach and MacDonald is 6'3 with a decent reach. Thier frames are what gives Leben problems, with his take some punches to give some punches style. It is hard for him to get inside on those guys, especially since both fought smart got like 2 punch 1 kick combo's off and then got out of Leben's range.

Bisping will just outclass him in every part of the fight.

Wow, my bad, i always thought kalib was only like 6'0. Mike is 6'2 with a pretty good reach though, and i think itl be more his quickness than his frame which prevent leben getting inside and brawling. Mikes alot quicker than kalib and jason imo.

I think if anyone gets KO'd in this fight, it will be bisping. not really sure why so many people are picking the count by KO, havent seen him KO anyone since ross pointon (who dropped to welterweight and never won in the ufc) and leben is well known for his solid chin. I agree that leben's weakness is the taller and more lengthy-limbed guys, but i would also like to add that good technical striking has given him trouble in a few of his fights. he is a brawler afterall. I say that if matt hamil can outstrike bisping then leben should have no problem drawing him into a brawling match. Bisping isnt all that accurate and i thnk dfensively his striking is lacking and he rarely covers up. should be a sure KO for leben IMO.

-on a side note- the trash talk leading up to this fight will be intense

As long as Bisping plays this one smart and moves quick in and out - I see him beating Leben in the later stages as Chris has a tendency to gas. If Leben catches Mike - it could be all over quickly however.

Very close fight imo but i think leben will edge out bisping in a decision unless they decide to screw over leben just like they did hamill in the UK

I'm thinking Leben will catch Bisping at some point in the fight if he tries to stand with him and get the TKO.

No problem. After watching Bispings last fight I am way more worrid thanI would have been if he hadn't just decimated someone at 185. That being said Alessio Sakara is a much better striker than Mike Bisping and Leben put him to sleep so I see it happening again.

I think they are just goign to make this an all out brawl. Bisping has to be very worried IMO. Bisping is quick but not as powerful as he needs to be to beat Leben.
