Lawler vs. Smith

Who will win the Robbie Lawler vs Scott Smith fight coming up?

this is going to be a stand up war. I think it will be Lawler in the end coming away with a TKO victory

Yeah I'd say Robbie gets the Knockout in the 2nd Round, that brawling with Pete Sell really makes you wonder

This will be a big test for Smith. I think Lawler has better standup, and should get the tko victory in the 1st or 2nd round. I wouldn't be suprised though if smith landed a big shot and wins.

Lawler has better stand up is in better shape and is very strong for his size I don't think Smith will be able to stand with him

The only thing is I don't think Lawler has much of a chin. He got KO'd by Nick Diaz with a jab back in the day and I don't think anybody would accuse Nick of having "big power". Scott Smith definetly has the power, I guess we'll see if he has a chin.

Lawler will use his wrestling and pound out a TKO, similiar to his fight with Ninja....he has been fighting smarter lately and not just stnading toe to toe.

He didn't really use much wrestling against ninja... But he did fight differently... It seems that he just has more patience and isn't stepping into the cage just to "throw down" or whatever... His striking has really evolved from a power-boxing style to a logical-opportunitstic style, IMO...

I'm sure his wrestling has gotten better since training more heavily with Hughes, but I see Robbie using that more for the defensive aspect to keep the fight standing...

Robbie's been on a tear and I'd be really surprised if Smith wins this fight standing... Lawler's just to good on the feet nowadays.... that and I don't want anything to ruin a fight between him and Le...

I think the ruthless one is gonna take one def by a tko maybe in the 1st, def the 2nd.Dont get me wrong smith has some hands, but the ruthless one is the way better striker IMO.

I havent been this pumped for a fight outside the ufc in quite a while. This will be a slugfest. Robbie is just to good for Scott though. I think Robbie Lawler is the 2nd best MW in the world.

lawler will win, he has the better chin and is more skilled in his striking. dont count out smith with his power though, he has dropped his fair share of guys.

Im still not sold on lawlers chin. I think hes got better technique in his stand up though and he'll probably end up beating on smith until he gets a tko. If smith lands though, i think he can ko lawler. Ill probably pick lawler in the end but i think its going to be alot closer than people think.

I think Lawler will win by picking Smith apart and using a smart game plan. Smith can slug though and he has sick speed/power. All it takes is one good punch and it could be lights out for Lawler, Lawler isn't a slouch when it comes to power either and it just as well be the other way around too.

A Lawler Silva match up would be epic.
