I know how ifl could be a real contender!

They need to take those battleground events on tv and instead of making them cut to hell highlight shows air the whole event or even better The whole event live.

Where i think they would hit a wall though is the amount of $ required to air a live event is more than likley out of there budgets for live events. I went to the ifl LA event this year and i think the cost to air the fight would be more than it costs them to put on the event. The match making and caliber of fights is great, they are in no way a "minor league".

What do you think would be the right move to help IFL contend with the bigger promotions?

Well the reason they probably don't air it live is to make sure they have enough footage to fill the time slot you know what i mean? say it was live and all the fights were quick they would have alot of extra time on there hands that would need to be filled in on the fly. atleast if its filmed before hand they can see what they have to work with. its just what i think...could be wrong though.... cause i know the UFC is able to make it work and everything.... but yea...........

The UFC can make it work because they have plenty of filler material. A fight ends 30 seconds into round 1 they can replay it five to six time from different angles, interview both guys and if they still have more time they can run a promo for the next big matchup. They will never run over because there isn't overtime. I heard they did run over in a ppv once and it cost them bigtime.

Your right though. They shouldnt cut the fights like they do. I enjoy it but that would make it that much better.

Oh and I love how Frank says he is the best and someone else said he is an amazing coach, then his team is ranked 11 out of 12. Go Frank!!

wrong forum but i do like the IFL.
battleground would be better if they hyped the fight / showed the whole fight uninterupted / then did the recap. do that with the best fights of that card. dont waste our time with the 12 minute splits.
