Now this will be a good fight. Both of these guys will bring it. Nobody will tap out after being grazed by a punch, and the fight will not go to decision.

Tank's last win was in 2005

I am just glad its gonna happen after that debacle they had before. I thought this was gonna be like Silva/Liddell or Randy/Fedor. Two greats who couldnt seem to make it happen. Now all the questions will finally be answered.

As a side note, I think they should call the event "EliteXC Kimbo vs. Tank: Battle of the Beards"

This is how I see the fight unfolding: First off, Kimbo comes out of the gate with a flying knee that rocks Abbott, but Tank keeps his wits about him and secures a double leg takedown in which he moves directly to side control. After dropping some serious elbows to the body he attempts the head arm triangle, but in going for the sub, Kimbo nearly locks in the twister and in the scramble the two get back to their feet. After a serious exchange of brutalizing leg kicks, Kimbo jumps to pull guard. Utilizing a very effective rubber guard, he attempts an omaplata and ends up taking Tank's back. Kimbo locks in the body triangle and then finishes the fight by landing multiple shots to the body (as he is trained by Bas and we all know that Bas loves it when they go to the body).

Tank is not a can. He wouldn't do that for a billion dollars. Plus, actual fighting makes him horny (see early UFC interviews).

kimbo is going wanna get this to the ground. He is tryin to get his mma going and tryin to put the street fights behind him, he has been workin on his BJJ and i see him winning by sub

tank is a fun fighter to watch but if it goes to the ground i see no chance for him, if kimbo want to stand its going be the better chain wins

Kimbo wins. Tank Abbott is a fat spaz with no actual mma skills. Kimbo isn't too skilled either, but he's in better shape, younger, and doesn't swing like a retard.

I feel like they are cherry picking his opponnents. Im not calling Tank a can but he is a brawler not a fighter. Thats exactly the kind of fight i expect kimbo to win.

Kimbo is just a younger, more in shape, African version of Tank!! I think he will TKO Tank in the first, and the torch will be passed. Kimbo will become more like Tank in the future....I say 3-4 years and almost any true MMA guy will take him to the ground and sub or TKO him. Bas had better get real serious in training this guy in subs and defense if he wants Kimbo to have even a short successful career.

I'm fairly sure they should list their match as a tough man contest and not a MMA match. That would make me feel much better about it. It will be 2 guys that will be gassed out just getting in the cage.

Haha neither guy has a lot of skill but if Tank connects with one of his bombs Kimbo is ******. If he dropped Cabbage with one punch he can sure as hell take Kimbo out with one shot. But it's tough to call considering Tank's cardio and sloppiness. If he wins this fight he will have to do it quick. I say he should just come out swining and hope he connects.

Im waiting for Tank to take Kimbo to the ground just like he did against Yoshida... lmao...

If Tank connects though, Kimbo will be put to sleep. Anyone who can knock Cabbage out with 1 punch can put anyone to sleep.

Im torn to pick cuz Tank is of my favorite early fighters growing up, and now Kimbo is a street brawler. I hope to see 2 people swing for the fences.

Can't wait. Whoever can lift their arm and throw a punch after the opening minute will take this.
