What sucks about this whole situation is that you dont know what Vera is going to show up. He was tearing through some pretty good fighters at heavyweight but lost his steam after being out of the game for over a year. I am actually not a very big fan of Vera but he has alot of potential and has been wasting it his last few fights.
If the confident aggressive Vera shows up in shape he will finish Jardine early. I just think Vera is the more well rounded fighter and shouldnt have any trouble winning this.
Then again Jardine hits like a freight train so it could all end in a second....but I'm still picking Vera by submission, I think he will choke him out in the 2nd.

This fight would be great if it happens, only if Vera adjusts to the drop in weight better and brings the fight to Jardine. I think he will adjust and be better at 205. He needed to see what it took to get there and luckily he was fighting Reese Andy. If all that happens it will be a stand up WAR. Vera TKO late 2nd

I think people are forgetting that Vera has sick submissions....I just have a feeling that he will catch Jardine with a strike and will finish him with a sub.....I dunno why I think that, I usually dont get odd hunches about fights.
I'm taking Keith Jardine all day on this one.
He's fought way better strikers in Forrest, Liddell and Wand. He even beat Chuck!
Vera just continues to disapoint imo and until he beats somebody of note and does it impressively, i won't believe the hype.
Also Jardine needs this alot more coming off a loss and generally being inconsistent in his fights.
I think Jardine will control the fight in the 1st with leg kicks and find his range, then finish it pretty early in the 2nd.
