Denis Kang returns to fighting after a six-month lay off to take on Gegard Mousasi in the first round of the Dream Middleweight Grand Prix. Kang, the No. 4 ranked middleweight in the world, is going to attempt to rebound from his last fight in October where he was knocked out.

“I'm training my butt off,” said Kang in a recent interview with MMAWeekly. “I've been training since my last fight in October, because I was under the impression I was going to fight on the Dynamite show (on New Year’s Eve), so I never stopped training.”...

this will be one of the biggest mw fights of the year. not to sure why their fighting in the first round considering they are no. 1 & 2 in the tourny. at least their fighting each while their healthy. should be a war.

I didn't know Kang was considered #4 either. I want to see Kang earn a top spot so I say WAR KANG

he would need to win this whole tournament just to make a case imo.

Im not sure if this tournament has enough star power to get Kang to number 4 even if he wins the whole thing. Imho Mousasi is the second best fighter in the tournament behind Kang and i think Mousasi has a good chance to beat him anyway.
