Its 2 days away I'm pumped. 14000 feet up Its gunna be awsome. Ive had to cut weight to do it tho. If I was over 95kgs I would have to pay more so I got down to 94kgs. That may still seem heavy but a couple of months ago I was 108kgs.

i went a few years back and the they taught us how to "banana roll" if we got in trouble so........

if youre thinking about screaming on the way down, it doesnt work man. its one hell of a rush and now that ive done it, ill never do it again, the anxiety level on the plane was palpable and even though i was convinced i wasnt nervous going into it, getting on the plane and seeing and feeling everyone elses nerves was brutal. it was awesome though man, dont get me wrong, i just hate not being in control of a situation and i surely wasnt that day.

Why wouldn't we get that? He broke his back in a skydiving accident.

Maybe you're not from the states? They show Man-vs-Wild here and if you watch the show, you've heard about his accident.

Nice, we have an airport the next town over that does skydiving frequently, so I've gone a couple times. Prepare for you stomach to instantly rocket up to your esophagus lol. It definetely feels like you're freefalling a lot longer than you are. Have fun, I'm sure you'll have a blast, don't let the jitters get to you.

I love that show, but I didn't hear about his accident. What happened when he was skydiving?

His military service ended in 1997 due to a parachuting accident he suffered the previous year during a training exercise in Kenya. His canopy ripped at 16,000 feet (4500 m), partially opening, causing him to fall and land on his parachute pack on his back, which broke three vertebrae, and left him struggling to feel his legs.[12] Grylls later said of the accident, "I should have cut the main parachute and gone to the reserve but thought there was time to resolve the problem".[13] Grylls spent the next 18 months in rehabilitation at Headley Court[13] and, with his military service over, directed his efforts into trying to get well enough to fulfill his childhood dream of climbing Mount Everest.
