A welterweight bout between "The Ultimate Fighter 11" winner Court McGee (13-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and veteran Josh Neer (33-12-1 MMA, 6-8 UFC) is targeted for UFC 157 in February.
A source close to the event today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) verbal agreements are in place for the fight. MMAFighting.com first reported the matchup.
UFC officials haven't formally announced the fight.
UFC 157 takes place Feb. 23 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The event's main card, which is headlined by the first-ever women's fight in the promotion (champ Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche), airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook.
McGee vs. Neer likely will be part of the prelims.LINK
