Undefeated light-heavyweight prospect Jimi Manuwa (11-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC.

UFC officials and Manuwa today announced the signing, though exact terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Nigerian-English fighter is expected to make his promotional debut at UFC on FUEL TV 5, which takes place in England in September.

UFC on FUEL TV 5 is set for Sept. 29 at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England. The main card airs live on FUEL TV (Saturday afternoon in the U.S.) following prelims on Facebook. It's not clear where Manuwa, who awaits an opponent, will end up on the lineup.

Manuwa launched his pro career in 2008 with just three weeks of training. However, he's breezed through competition with 11 stoppages victories (nine in the first round) in 11 career fights. All of the wins but one have come via knockout/TKO.

Well after the Kong signing, this seemed inevitable. Good pickup, I wonder how he will fare against the big boys.

Dont know him, but if he has talent, lhw is in dire need of him and his ilk.

I think Rabi already said it but they need to sign one more top British fighter. Rob Sinclair is ready for the big show imo.

Stats definitely look promising: 11-0 with 10 KOs & 1 sub. An immediate matchup against Glover, like many have been calling for, would make a lot of sense from a perspective of "let's find out the best LHW in the world as of NOW" fight selection process...
but would be ridiculous from an economic perspective of "let's build up the future of the UFC by protecting/showing them off UNTIL the future is here" fight selection process.
So if you're calling the shots at ZUFFA, which do you pick?

All things considered, I'd probably go with someone along the lines of Lil Nog, or maybe bring over someone like Feijao or Kyle as an opponent.
