"Spencer is the kind of fighter who has fought plenty of fights with injuries and Marcus Aurelio is not the kind of fighter you want to fight at 80 percent," said the native North Carolinian's manager, Monte Cox. "He was willing to fight but we decided it just was not a smart decision."

The 31-year-old Fisher (20-4-0) was looking to rebound from a loss to Frank Edgar (Pictures) at UFC 78.

Aurelio (15-5-0) had hoped to continue the momentum he had built in his dominant stoppage win over Luke Caudillo at UFC 78 against Fisher.

He will now likely face Jim Miller, whose only loss came at the hands of Edgar. Miller (10-1-0) is riding a five-fight winning streak into his UFC debut.

With Fishers weak ground game and not so good off his back if it went to the ground Maximus was going to get the sub win. Standing Fisher took it but i def. saw this as a stepping stone for Aurelio the replacement doesn't seem to bad though.Could be a good fight.

yeah, the guy hes facing is going to want to take it to the ground though, i think aurelio is just going to outclass him.

Umm, I don't know about you but I make sure and watch every bout one way or another.

Prelims rock!

Unfortunate; but I'd rather see 2 guys fighting at full strength, at this level.

This is bad news. Although this card is still one of the best I have seen. I'm gonna be watching it.

Im not that bothered, it was an interesting fight but at least Miller stepping in makes it an easier pick and wager I was torn on that fight so there could have been worse pullouts imo

This isnt that bad of an replacement. Miller has a great ground game and an very good chin as well. Im not going to pick him because i think Aurelio has a better chance of winning but i would look out for an upset here.

I think Aurelio takes this for sure now.
