what do you all think about putting mma in high school as a sport, it be just like wresle have weights 103 112 119...... i think that would be sick what do you all think about that?

i dont think i will happen, for the same reason boxing isnt included in highschools, just because striking (kicking etc)is used, wresteling is included cus no striking is allowed etc........but yea that would be a dream, but im not in highschool anymore

dont think its happenings. parents will see it as violence. plus dont think could get trainers and equipment. I'd rather train with a camp.

i dont think it will happen also but i think it would help so many kids on the road to no where, and i no of a lot for kids that are awesome fighter but dont have any money to train i really wish they would do it for that reason

I actually had a dream about this, i don't see it happening anytime soon, but maybe when the sport is more accepted and understood in the mainstream.

Won't happen, too many kids will get hurt and you couldn't compete every week like you do in wrestling.

no chance this will ever happen. Ever. You need to be 18 to compete in MMA anyways, at least sanctioned MMA.

Would never happen but BJJ/Submission grappling could and would be awesome to have in highschools.

I think it would be cool and would elevate the sport, but like everyone else said it will never happen. However all of this new mma hype may make wrestling in high school more popular, or maybe even bring bjj into the schools.
