From Hughes upcoming book. He makes Tim seem like the red-headed step-child of MFS

TS: “Is there anything I can do to be friends with you?”

MH: “Well, right now I have enough friends and I don’t need any more friends,” I said. “Is that it? Are we done here?”

He let out a deep breath. “Yeah, I guess.”

“Good.” I got up and left.

Funny as hell, but it still makes Matt look like a jerk....I don't think I like half of the Militech guys though so I may be biased. Still though for Tim to take a girl from another fighter....priceless!!!

I dont think it was funny. Just shows how big of a dick Matt is.

How can you say that without knowing the entire story?

I'm not saying Hughes is in the right, but maybe Sylvia IS a slack-ass and maybe he is a bit of a pussy...we don't actually know because we don't actually train with him.

So he's a dick...I would be too if I trained with a guy that was all about himself and didn't give 2 flyin' sh*ts about his teammates.

QFT... You can take one look at Sylvia and tell he's a slacker. Don't give yourselves away as the Hughes haters you are by being so eager to call him a dick. You probably didn't even read the full article. I wouldn't wan't a fat lazy person around me either. Especially in an environment where you're supposed to work hard and be physically sound. Matt Hughes... obviously in the right on this one. Fact, not opinion.

Well, i like matt hughes, and ive defended him alot in other posts. But how can you say hughes is in the right? how do you no tim slacks off or whatever? its only what hughes says, sylvia could just as easily come out and say the same thing about him. At the end of the day, wether matt likes it or not, tim is his team mate, and its just unprofessinal and generally lame to dedicate part of your book to putting a team mate down. Tim might of hit on sombody another team mate liked or whatever, but at least hes not out writing books about how he hates the people who are supposed to be his partners.

i say they get into the cage and see who wins

I'd rather a guy be brutally honest than to have him candy coat everything to make it seem like everything is just rainbows and unicorns and happy little trolls jumping around with hula hoops.

Then again,while their both very good fighters I don't care much for matt either.Kind of like Doctor Doom talking down to SandMan or Rhino.Both are villians,it's just the other is a lot smarter.

so he hit on a girl that another guy liked, but was in noway involved with? waaah...

I actually have the book and have read it and he does call Tim out on stuff but if you actually read the book Matt Hughes is one of the first guys to Big Tim when he tested positive for steroids and lost his title and help the dude when he was in the most need which is what he needed. So all im saying is its easy to bash a guy when you don't have all the facts. But don't bash him until you know all the story i suppose is what im getting at.

Also when Matt Hughes refers to Tim as a slacker he may mean he dogs it in Practice which if you've wrestled or in another sport there is always a guy who never practices like he should but what he is truly refering to is when he doesn't show at practice when hes sore while everyone else is working their butts off training and trying to get fights and he misses practice and gets the same treatment as everyone else.

It seams that everyone missed the fact that Tim seems to do a lot of crying. If I was training for a big fight I wouldn't want a big baby arround.

I didn't really find that funny. I thought they were all friends. At least Jens worked things out with him. Guess Hughes will always be a dick.
