Hendo vs A.Silva

when do you think it'll happen and who would you call the winner and why

hendo will dominate, has the punching power to hold his own with silva on the feet, he would dominate wrestling and has the physical strength to stay out of silva's butterfly guard. i think hendo would knock him out with ground and pound. Hendo is the best 185 pound fighter in the world by far, out of his 5 losses one has come at 185 (misaki), which appeared to be his worst performance. His other 4 losses are to lil nog, big nog, arona and wandy when he moved up weight. Silva will put up a fight but hendo has too much strength for him to handle.

I would have said "definitely Henderson" before, but now I am not too confident. Anderson Silva just looked wicked against Nate. I really thought Nate was going to give Silva a run for his money but Silva made quick work out of Nate.

Henderson is more powerful, and his standup has improved unbelievably, plus he has a great wrestling background. I think it would be a very tough fight for Anderson Silva. But Silva has some very accurate hands, so he could potentially catch Henderson, but I see Henderson taking that fight.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Hendo could hold 4 belts?

Henderson is good, and could certainly outwrestle Silva, but I don't think he could hang with him in the stand up. Similarly, he'd have to watch out for Silva's BJJ. Hendo is good, but I can't see him beating Silva unless he gets lucky.

I just see Silva winning, hendo getting to the point where he has to rush things and silva just picking him apart.

But I've only seen one Hendo fight. But I'd still pick Silva, dont see anyone beating him on paper wise, unless a doctor stoppage or lucky punch.

No one has mentioned the ever important chin of Henderson... The guy is impossible to hurt...

As for Silva's BJJ vs Hendo's wrestling... Dan has the power to first of all get the TD, and secondly control position... And he isn't just a wrestler, he also has some great submission defense as well... Only two sub loses and they were to both the Nogueira bros...

Anderson does have much much better standup, that's a givin, but Hendo uses his striking intelligently and would use it to set up the TD...

I think this is one of, if not THE most, interseting matchup at 185... That and I've always wanted to see Filho / Lindland

I think it might happen in late 2008 or early 2009. I think Anderson will win because he is way to good of a striker for Hendo to handle. Plus if he gets taken down he has a black belt in jui jitsu.

I think that silva would win with the sweetest KO... Silva has impressed me big time in each and every fight he has had in the UFC..

i really like both of these guys and too see these two fight would be great. i honestly think both men have a equal chance of winning. both of them are very complete fighters in every aspect of the game but they are vastly different at the same time. i really hope this fight happens down the line.

Its gotta be Hendo. Hendo's got the wrestling and the strength to avoid Silva's clinch. He's also got an incredible chin.
