do we really need 17 SEPARATE threads for "poster of the year awards?" I know its all in good fun but there's such a thing as overkill. wouldn't it be just as easy to have one thread and people could vote accordingly? the current threads look an awful lot like spam threads to me.

It doesn't bother me. Like P_F said it is much easier to tally the votes. In a couple weeks time all of those threads will fall to the bottom and be forgotten

If it wasn't done this way with the polls then it would all have to be via PM to JJeans and that would be waaay too much shit coming at him. It'll only be a couple days papercut, then things in the off topic will go back to normal.
