What ever happened to getting buttons for doing well in an event?

I know I haven't been "active" as much as I used to be in the past seven months, but I have come to notice that (at least in the secondary league) that there isn't any buttons going around. I remember at one time you used to get buttons for placing in the top 10 in either points or earnings for an event.

I finished 10th on WEC 32, and 2nd on Kimbo vs Tank in the earnings, and never got a button for that. I got a button for finishing 5th overall in earnings that season (which was the second), but never any buttons for it. I just this past weekend got lucky again and had another top 10 finish on WEC 34 in which I finished 4th.

I was just curious if the whole idea of giving away buttons had been pushed aside/thrown out/given up. If so, does that mean no more buttons for finishing at the top of everyone at the end of a season? Also what does it mean to the people who have buttons from events that they did well on from say, the first season? Will theirs be taken away?

Just curious.

The Top 10 badges are only for the overall top 10 scorers and earners at the end of the season. For each individual event it's top scorer and top earner only.

Ah. I see now. Well, I wondered why after all these months nothing was ever done about getting me the two buttons. I guess I don't need to wait any longer.. ::goes back into hiding/lurking/still playing, but not quite "playing".::

well as far as i know, now, to get a badge you have to place first in the event. The rest dont get any badges.

when the season is over, everyone that finished as a top ten gets a badge.

They did used to do it that way with the main league for sure, it was top 10 for an event, i guess its a good thing otherwise everyone would have 1, sigh ....... mine will come 1 day, please let it be 85

C'mon you got enough Badges....

I for one need to win something so i can get one..

Maybe i can get one that says i earned more money and points than Cornish this season..

But my badges are a sickly colour, i want a nice shiney red one and a lovely blue one and a super smashing great green one

would have liked a purple avatarist one as well but clearly not deserving

well at this pace you are looking good for the top camp badge. i for one love my badges...Blue, orange purple and light blue make for an interesting array of colors

I wouldnt discount team sure shot. they're right at your heels.

Your guys division is probably one of the closest.

You get one if your camp is ranked #1 in its weight class at the end of the season.

I think the little buttons are a cool idea... it gives me something to shoot for.
