GSP vs Nick Diaz

I cannot fathom one scenario where Diaz wins this fight.

I agree with this. I can't think of any possible way he pulls it out. GSP is way too well rounded for him.

I have to disagree. Condit almost finished GSP, and we all know Diaz beat Condit. Therefore, MMA Math dictates that Diaz finishes GSP rather easily.

The closer it gets, I am actually starting to feel sorry for Diaz. He is sort of being set up as a sacrificial lamb, like some kind of public execution.

Regardless, this is his big chance. He better make the most of it.

I definitely have GSP winning, and even outstriking Diaz definitively. I think this will be ugly, especially in the later rounds. I say GSP finishes.

Here's a question: Which one has/had a better chance... Diaz against GSP, or Bonnar against Silva?

BillsNewAccount seemed pretty confident in Diaz the other day, so i sent him an av bet request. if he doesnt accept, im still looking. i know there are some Stockton 209ers out there who also post regularly enough to do an av bet.

GSP should throw dem bows and rip Diaz' face open thats the only way he'll get a stoppage. Otherwise this is an extremely one sided and extremely entertaining 5 round beat down.

Totally Disagree!! We all know styles make fights.

I have to disagree, too because of the same reason. STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!

Here is one that's a little recent:

Rashad Evans beat Phil Davis.
Phil Davis beat Nogueira.
Nogueira beat Rashad Evans.

Styles make fights.

And, proper preparation presents opportunity....which wins fights.

Me neither and that bores me, whereas you seem excited by the prospect.
You must appreciate GSP's technical mastery more than I do.


I wish I could find a way to be excited for this fight or for Jones vs Sonnen.

I mean, I'm always happy to watch fights.... but these title fights...
