I just seen a news statement that said that GSP will be sidelined at least another 3 months while waiting to fight the winner of Hughes-Serra. I was wondering if he should fight someone so that he keeps up his intensity, and training. just wondering what you guys thought.

no need to fight again, it is not the first time that a fighter will have to wait like that.

we will have many good fight in between to be able to wait !!

and GSP is training like a maniac so he will just be more prepare to kill his opponent in from of the canadian crowd in montreal !! ( hoping )

GSP has glass bones or something... I think the UFC wants to make sure he's healthy for his title shot, and I'm sure they don't want to wait for him to heal from another injury because they wanted him to fight again.

No, but If the winner gets hurt and is out a while he may anyway.

I'd like to see GSP fight, but I think since he earned a title shot he shoulden't have to. I think they should have had serra and huges fight at 78.

yeah I think GSP should have to fight someone else before gettin his title fight. Karo should get a shot before GSP. Karo got hurt and didn't get to have his title fight. but when gsp got hurt and Penn had to replace him GSP got his title fight 2 months later. so Karo needs his

I don't think he should fight before his title shot. He earned the shot, why screw it up by losing or getting hurt?
