GSP has mentioned he will fight and class. Lets say chuck and GSP dominate for the next year.....WHO WINS THIS FIGHT

does chuck have to lose the weight or doe gsp have to gain it or do they meet 1/2 way? i think chuck would win. i love gsp but he couldn't strike with chuck. chuck would defend his take downs. and for that matter i think chuck could go up a wight class also and win. fighters cut and add weight all the time so this is a great question.
so in addition to your chuck / gsp, how about
chuck / silva , chuck / crocop , chuck / AA

chuck/silva would be a great fight
chuck/cro cop not even close - cro cop kills him.
chuck/aa i dont even think this one would be close, AA is too big/strong for chuck i think. AA at the top of his game owns Chuck.
as for the original question, chuck would beat GSP if they met in the middle, but i think it would be competitive.. (as much as chuck/ortiz at least)...GSP's striking is good enough that he wouldnt look entirely out of place, and if it did get to the ground hes dynamic enough to make it interesting before chuck stood back up..still chuck by KO.

Chuck would murder GSP...its just not a fair fight
Chuck cuts weight to make 205
and so does GSP to make 170
in the middle it would be 185ish and chuck cant make that weight...but if he did he would still be too powerful for GSP...GSP is very well rounded,but he is not he is not that good at striking(boxing) he usually runs into alot of jabs and chuck would make ground meat out of his face after a while..(BJ penn/GSP...penn was landing jab after jab and had no answer to his standup till penn got tired)
more realistic would be Anderson vs Liddell....which i made a thread of in Sherdog months ago and got like 200 replies in 3 hours...and it was a very hot topic...it was pretty even in who the people picked to win....i picked Anderson if they met at 195

GSP already stated he would fight 205 if there was no more competition at his weight theres plenty of it at 170 but we can dream
