The emotional reunion between two brother gorillas at a safari park has been caught on camera.
Kesho and his younger brother Alf were parted three years ago when one of them was sent to London Zoo as part of a breeding programme. Their emotional reunion upon seeing one another again for the first time has proven to be one of the most human-like displays of affection ever observed in a primate species.
"We weren't entirely sure that the brothers would even know each other, but the moment they met you could just see the recognition in their eyes," said gorilla keeper Mark Tye.
