"...to the provincial finals."

WOW - what an interesting factoid Goldie...

I wonder if Goldie will ever bring up the fact that BJ Penn once beat the school checkers champion in a best out of 3? That would certainly give fans something to consider prior to his next match.

pretty sure he was just trying to indicate that he's a good athlete and has excelled in other sports.

Pretty sure you're right since that's what he said prior to his informative statement.

But it sounded semi-retarded since volleyball skills carry as much weight in determining one's MMA ability as does ballet or tae bo.

Nonetheless, kudos to J Mac for an excellent showing on the ground.

Thats part of Goldberg's job. To bring insight and background into the fighters. I like to know tidbits about all fighters.

And where would Goldy be without those little stats in front of him that he keeps falling back on. Did anyone else find it annoying that everytime GSP got the takedown he would have to bring up his takedown percentage or Fitch's percentage of takedown defense. We get it, they're good wrestlers.

Thats what I like about Rogan. He's actually a fan of the sport and his knowledge is not only informative but comes off the top of his head.
