Is probably 1 of the most hated fighters in MMA
He Knocks out the Ref
And Gets DQ d all the time

lol he's more suited to K-1, he doesn't like the ground game(understatement of the year) and he has trouble getting a fighting license in the US, since he likes to fight everyone in the ring. But he's a great striker and tough as nails. I love him.

The Dirty Dutchman surfaces again!
He would probably do pretty badly in the UFC, due to his lack of a ground game, and the UFC's rules which favour wrestlers and Lay n Pray tactics. Once someone had him down, he'd end up being stuck there and losing by decision. He is much more suited to K-1, at least there he doesn't have to worry about some wrestler lying on top of him for 3 rounds, he can just focus on Muay Thai, and not have to worry about some wrestler sticking him to the floor.

i dont think the nsac will ever license him to fight in the states. i like to watch him fight but i probably wouldnt. as funny as it is to see him act like a dick, there is nothing remotely right about that or about biting or face clawing, and knocking out someone who isnt defending themselves and is outweighed by 70 pounds is not only wrong its dangerous.

I thought "Dirty" Bob Schrijber was the Dirty Dutchman? Although admittedly Gilbert is a much dirtier fighter.

His fight at Beasts from the East was just a complete mess, face washing the ref, refusing to get back on the ground, using Don Frye as a scratching post.... What's hilarious is after the fight, Don got on the mic and sympathized with Yvel, even offering to fight him again sometime.
I don't think we'll be seeing him in the UFC anytime soon. The Nevada State Athletic Commission wouldn't even let him fight when at Second Coming because of his history of foul play and ref-bashing.

He's already been denied a fighting license so I don't see them changing that. He'll stay in K-1 and do great there.
