From what some people are saying on the UG, and the way the original article was altered, the story just seems believable to me.

It's near where he lives coupled with several different people who claim to be close to him confirming it is true makes the story worth a look. When the original story came out it stated that the person was 33, the original poster was flamed, then later it was changed to 29 (Aldana's age), then the poster was unflamed. It is still a rumor at this point.

Yeah tell me about it. ( drownings in 2007).

So was Gilbert not able to swim? Or like the article suggested did he just hit a rock or hard obejcet when he dove it. I get the feeling that someone who couldnt swim wouldnt dive into a lake so i assume it is the later.
