Gesias Cavalcante May Face Eddie Alvarez At DREAM 11

According to his manager, Gesias "JZ" Cavalcante will return to DREAM in September to face newly crowned Bellator Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez at DREAM 11. Cavalcante takes a 3-fight winless streak into this matchup (2 losses and a No Contest against Shinya Aoki) while Alvarez is also coming off a loss in his last DREAM fight, that also against Aoki.

Has potential to be a great fight, if it happens I definately think Alvarez takes it, and "JZ Calvan" stays winless in DREAM.

Looks like we got too excited. An Alvarez spokesman says it's "doubtful" the fight happens. Busy schedule and Bellator commitments, although Bellator may be open to letting him fight elsewhere since it's probably going to be a while before he defends his Bellator title, as in roughly the end of the year.
