I'm not big on the horror movies, but I really enjoyed Rob Zombie's Halloween, and this does have Bay attached so it might be OK but I really don't care.

Actually the concept of Friday the 13th was pretty good back when Jason's mom was the killer, but got silly when Jason became all supernatural and what not.

I like the idea of the modern classic monsters getting revamps because they need it.
I mean the Friday,Halloween,and Nightmere movies are so bogged down in continuity that they really need a fresh start,and a remake is the perfect way to do it.

I really liked the Halloween remake, it was damn good and damn scary too. This one doesn't look bad, but the trailer didnt really show much but a bunch of people running in the woods. I have the Friday the 13th box set so I'll probably go see this.

its a horror movie, it doesnt have to make sense.
also, this movie is a remake, not a new one, so you cant blame the people in the movie for never hearing of jason
