does anyone else feel franklin deserved the win apart from a few takedowns i dont think henderson landed much at all. rich landed way more quality strikes and was still offensive when on his back. this is not my biased opinion as I like both fighters and yes i know you score for takedowns i just feel rich did more than dan in this fight.

One of the judges agrees w/ you, lol.

It was so close it was a split. Can't really call it robbery.

ya hendo didn't land much on the feet, but that's only half the battle, franklin didn't do much on his back and he was there for a good portion of the fight.

I thought that Franklins leg kicks to the body were enough to win round 1 , he clearly won round 3 but i guess the judges seen it differently

there is no doubt Henderson won that fight. he won the stand up battle in the first 2 rounds and then started pounding Franklin on the ground. Franklin was controlled for the first 2 rounds. the only round you can argue for Franklin was the 3rd which makes it a 29-28 UD for Henderson. the judge that scored it 30-27 for Franklin was out of his mind.

I don't see how Hendo was winning the first two rounds in the standup, the kicks seemed like they were taking a toll on him. I had Franklin winning it, but I can also see why they gave Hendo the win. I liked that it was a split decision though, shows how close the fight was.

It really could have gone either way, but I think the decision was fair. Just goes to show you should never leave it in the judges hands.

All around Rich looked better all 3 rounds. His performance was pretty much consistant the whole fight.
It was mainly how Hendo kept him on his back for the second round that sealed the fight.

I say the first round about even. The second round all Hendo. The 3rd round to rich. But Hendo was more dominant in the second than Rich was in the 3rd.
That's the way I see it anyway.

I would hate to be a judge in this fight because is was so friggin close. Such an awesome fight. Rich might beat him if he would stop clinching with him. If your afraid of the takedown don't clinch with a grecco roman wrestler lol

You are definitely wrong that there is no doubt that Hendo won. He did not win the stand up battle in the first two rounds, but he did get the better of the grappling (which the judges used as the major factor to judge, except for the crazy judge). But the match was so close it could have went either way.

i think Franklin won, he was more active. henderson landed a few good blows on the ground and i think franklin picked him apart on the feet. not only that but franklin got up every time hendo put him down. But there are benefits to him losing

1.he stays at LHW
2.He didnt want to do TUF 9
3.He would have become MW gate keeper again

I thought it was a pretty good judging except for the 30-27 judge....that was nuts

Agreed Fatty Patty (which is Fox) hehe

The thing is you knew the judges were gonna give the fight to Hendo if he got him down to the ground in the fight. Which he did in every round.

No way can anyone give Franklin round one imo. He got rocked then got taken down and got worked over on the ground and got 75% of the kicks he threw blocked. He connected on two or thee clean kicks and maybe two or three punches clean but Henderson really connected with some great uppercuts and as the round ended Rich was chasing Dan and got clocked with a really good shot which just sealed the round on top of rocking Rich and getting the take down and hitting him with solid shots. IF ya guys can i recommend watching that round again as I did and its quite clear Henderson won that round while watching it the first time I wasn't sure. Idk how anyone could give Rich the first roundafter re watching it.

Henderson won. He got the take downs, stayed in the pocket and won those exchanges, and kept Franklin down for a while in fight.

That being said the judge that agreed was also the one that saw it 30-27 Franklin and I think he must of had something in his eye to think Franklin was all 3 rounds. Anyone could clearly see that Dan won round 1 for sure and in my opion Dan won round 2 as well. I dont think Rich did enough to make anyone think he won. Dan had alot of takedowns.
