I dont know if there is any news on this Cat but I would like him to make a comeback, he has the skill set to run through the HW division but traditionally doesn't have the work ethic to do so. Is he goin to try? if he does will he fail? i'd like to see Mir/Fedor for Fedors first scrap in the UFC. at the end it would be alot of ? answered for both fighters.

I would like to see Ricco Rodriguez vs. Frank Mir, they are both great on the ground, but both lack the drive.

Now Frank Mir is 1 of my favorite fighters but I don't think he has the sill set , bad stand up and the worst cardio I have ever seen , other than Tank Abbot , but I think Fedor would KO him in the 1st Round

Mir knocked out Wes Sims which isin't the greatest MMA accomplishment, but it shows his standup isin't bad. Striking isin't where his strengths lie, it's jiu-jitsu and the ground game where he is dangerous. I would like to see him comeback but I don't see it happening. He will never be the same fighter he used to be but then again was he really that great to begin with? Beating Tank doesn't prove much and submitting Big Tim was his best fight but who knows if that Mir will ever show up in the Octagon again. Sure he ran through Hardonk but he got destroyed by Vera before that and loss to Pe De Pano and scrapped by Dan Christinsion. Only time will tell. Hopefully this win will give him some much needed confidence and he will continue to showcase his ability in the octagon. As for future opponents I'm not quite sure Mir is ready for any real threatening tests yet. I think he needs another win before he steps in the cage with the likes of Fedor, Big Nog, or Arlovski. I do think Mir is the gatekeeper at Heavyweight right now. He's borderline. More losses and he's done, but more wins and he will prove he's legit and make a climb back to the top.

well,im sure frank getting hit by a car [while ufc heavyweight champ] when riding his motorcycle doesnt affect his performance nowadays.he suffered a severe leg injury,i doubt he'll ever be back to where he was,or reach full potential, def still a good fighter though, hope he proves me wrong.

Frank Mir is one of my fav fighters and even though i dont think he will ever be at the calibur fighter he used to be I still think he could get some big wins before his career is over they should put him in against Heath Hearing or another middle class heavyweight.
