I dont see how Forrest can win this one besides a punchers chance. Nogs better on the ground we know and he mauled Luis Cane on his feet whos a monster. Nog TKO or sub.

I don't even think Forrest has a punchers chance in this one. I love Forrest but he's gonna get mauled as bad as he did against Anderson.

Idk, everybody said that about Shogun-Forrest, and Forrest always has the wrestling advantage even though he's not the most elite wrestler he still has pretty decent wrestling. I think it will be a freakin war but I will too also pick Lil Nog, probably by 2nd-3rd round KO. But I won't count Forrest out.

Forrest can win this if he fights smart.You have to follow a blue print to beat either of the Nog brothers-frequent take downs,top control,controlled ground and pound,negate the submissions.

Forrest has a good enough top game to stay out of trouble on the ground.He's also strong enough to bully Nog around and push him up against the fence,put his ass on the matt when he needs to,ect.

Forrest can win this one on points with the right game plan.If he goes in there and gets in a stand up war with Nog,he's going to get dropped and finished at some point.

all that work trying to help forrest back up with the tito fight is gonna go out the window. nog will literally destroy forrest. this wont be a brawl and it wont be a battle. it will be a one sided beat down.

honestly im not trying to bash here but i dont think forrest really belongs in the upper tier at lhw. yea you can say he beat shogun. but theres more to that story then just that. and yea you can say he beat rampage but alot of people thought he didnt as far as i know. look at his last 9 fights. yea he has been facing excellent competition but hes 5-4 of his last 9. a win over tito who hasnt fought in forever isnt really a big deal to me and of course the controversy with the shogun and rampage fights. all im saying is they really shouldnt be settin him up for this but they do cause they know they can make money off him. i like forrest but they need to give him some time again before fightin someone like lil nog. maybe a rematch with jardine?

I got to say Forrest seemed to catch people on off nights on his way to the title, and the best I ever seen him was in his loss to Rashad. Lil Nog isn't anywhere near Big Nog on the ground, Forrest can make a fight of this if he can get it to the ground or slow him down with those leg kicks. In the end I think he steals a round to add suspense but Lil Nog will dominate when he wants too.

I'll definitely be picking Lil Nog. He will have an advantage standing and in the submission game.

But as has been stated, If Forrest can mix limited exchanges on the feet with some controlled GNP/LNP he could win a UD. Everyone counted him out against Shogun and Rampage, he seems to relish the underdog role.

At the very least I don't think it will be as one sided as many of you are saying. A couple bad fights and everyone changes there tune. After Shogun and Rampage many people were convinced that Forrest was championship material. He was even a huge favorite over Rashad (65 to 35). If he impresses against Nog I think we'll be hearing some more praise.

I agree with what isnt quoted from your post entirely.

But being one of those who picked Forrest to beat Rashad, i would do it again if the fight happened tomorrow.

Nog is a striker who uses straight punches and accurate counters to pick apart people who strike with him. Thats a bad match-up against a fighter who wins his fights by outworking his opponents and doubling their volume of strikes. Just like Anderson Silva was a tough match-up stylistically for him.

I'm not saying you shouldn't pick Forrest if the fight happened again tomorrow. I picked Forrest the first time around and until the end of the fight I think he was winning on points. My point was merely that people had a lot of confidence in him, it disappeared very quickly, and I'm willing to bet (under the right circumstances) it could reappear very quickly.

Haven't seen much of Rogerio but I've read enough on here to get the basics of how he fights and his skills. I'm sure he's one of the most legit threats in the LHW division, but I really just wanna see Forrest get another win. I hope he gets back into title contention, Forrest is the man and I will always cheer for him in his fights.
