The Ultimate Fighting Championship has carved out a historic corner for UFC 100. Despite the fact that more than 100 UFC shows have gone in the books, the symbolic century mark transforms this July event from usual summer sizzle show to organizational milestone.

The Mandalay Bay Events Center plays host to the card Saturday in Las Vegas. Here are five things to watch for come fight night, one for every finger in the fist.

To my memory, this is the first time a UFC event has been featured on ESPN.com's front page. Unsurprisingly, they're using Brock Lesnar to lead the feature, but that doesn't bother me. Even if you don't think he's the biggest or best story on tomorrow's card, he's clearly the most recognizable face outside MMA circles, and there are probably still a lot of WWE fans and pro wrestling doubters/haters alike who dismiss Brock as a steroid-infused charlatan.

I agree, but those damn cameramen wont show it.

Exactly. I can't remember the last time I even saw the Buffer 180.

watch for celebs in the seats @ ufc 100

i hope they show the buffer 360, ive been hyping it to everyone i know. even the people who don't know what the ufc is.
