With most fighters in his situation I would say yes but the dude is always entertaining and solid gatekeeper in my opinion. although, If they give him another fight and he loses I think he should be cut regardless

No freakin way! There a heaps of reasons to keep him.
He has a large fanbase for a 4-5 fighter, all his fights are great fights, and he seems like a great guy, which makes for a good ambassador for the sport.
He will never be champ, but he seems happy just to be a gatekeeper, and its cool to have a heavyweight focused on kicking too, not many big dudes can kick well.
